Hairstylist Trevor Kohlman is the owner of the new WAVES hair salon, on 5th Ave. and Calle 60 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
Trevor specializes in precision cutting and with his artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail enjoys working with clients to come up with styles individualized to their needs. Trevor has over 16 years of experience but besides his expert technique, he�s also known for his relaxed, in-depth consultations. Trevor creates a natural and personally designed look for every client, and open communication is his first step in that journey. A master of his craft, he keeps up with the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear on the fashion scene.� Trevor is trained in and has expanded upon cutting and coloring techniques as well as conducted educational seminars for high-end hair and beauty product lines such as Aveda, Purology, Paul Brown and L�Oreal.
While working in and owning salons in Canada (MOPPS in Alberta, Salon 528 in Lethbridge and his award-winning FUEL salon) and in Playa del Carmen (Vida Salon and Day Spa), he made frequent trips to New York and other high profile cities where the fashion scene can provide you with the up-and-coming beauty trends long before they hit the mainstream scene.
